3. Leading Building and Pest Inspection software is leading the industry. From the moment you book a property inspection with us, you will receive an email with the pre-inspection agreement. This is a mandatory requirement to comply with Australian Standard 4349.1.2007. Our clients can electronically sign the agreement and pay for the inspection, preferably by bank transfer, as this is the safest way to pay. We then contact the Real-estate agent or property owner and arrange the inspection on our client’s behalf. At this time, we will inform you of the time and date the inspection will be carried out. We will also email the agent a confirmation booking. Once the inspection is complete, we will email the report to you the same day. When the report is opened, the inspector will receive an email alert. At this time, you can expect a call from us to walk you through the building report findings and answer any questions you may have.
WE USE THE LATEST THERMAL IMAGING
We use the latest thermal imaging camera for testing readily accessible parts of interior areas of the building. The use of thermal imaging cameras where appropriate to complement the inspection process. The thermal and moisture imaging camera is particularly used for identifying salt damp, and dampness behind wet area walls and subfloor areas roof leaks with the presence of dampness.
In the event that the thermal image indicates an area of concern, it will appear in the body of the report, together with a recommendation for further action if required.
Note: Detection of timber pest activity and dampness with thermal imaging can be impacted by a number of factors, including prevailing weather conditions, the use of the building, the type of construction, etc.
